AI in Finance — Deployment Digest – Week 23 June 2026
- Jun 24
- 3 min read

A lighter week at the wealth layer than at the payments layer, and read here from the client’s side of the table rather than the institution’s. Two questions organise it: what is being built around high-net-worth clients, and what, exactly, a client is being asked to deal with. The week’s payments and settlement items — substantial in their own right — were held back as institutional-infrastructure matters for a later run. The Capgemini personalisation figure recurs unchanged from an earlier week. Provenance notes indicate the strength of sourcing, not an endorsement of the claims.
What is being built around HNWI clients
AXA Global Private — Launched June 2026: a unified platform for high- and ultra-high-net-worth clients spanning insurance, wealth and succession. Human advisors remain the primary client interface, and no autonomous investment capability is described. The launch materials make no AI capability claim.
Confirmed — firm announcement. The absence of any AI capability claim is the launch materials’ own.
Merrill (Bank of America) — The AI-Powered Meeting Journey, a full-scale rollout announced March 2026 and surfacing in the run for the first time. An advisor-productivity tool covering meeting preparation, summarisation and follow-up, described as saving up to four hours per meeting. It performs no advisory or investment-execution function, and client consent is required before a meeting is summarised.
Confirmed — firm announcement, rollout dated March 2026, captured here for the first time. The tool operates in the workflow layer behind the advisor relationship.
Capgemini World Wealth Report 2026 (figure) — Only 17% of HNWIs describe their advisory experience as both seamless and personalised. The report attributes roughly $1.5 trillion in asset flows to competitors to dissatisfaction of this kind. The figure first appeared in the run on the Week of 9 June and recurs here unchanged.
Reported — Capgemini is an interested party as an AI-transformation consultant, and the survey methodology is not fully detailed in public materials. The $1.5 trillion flow figure is single-sourced. The figure recirculates from an earlier run.
Masttro — An intelligence layer for family offices, framed around the $84 trillion Great Wealth Transfer and a shift “from dashboards to decision systems,” with actions triggerable directly from insights. The boundary between triggering an action and autonomous execution is not demarcated in public materials.
Reported — platform operational since October 2025; capability claims are vendor-asserted, with no independent audit referenced. Carried as family-office tooling bearing on HNWI clients.
What am I dealing with
Citi (Citi Sky) — A client-facing agent providing real-time voice and video to Citigold clients, presented as “an AI-powered member of the Citi Wealth team.” First logged on the Week of 4 June and carried here for the relationship-framing it states.
Confirmed — firm description. The “member of the team” language is Citi’s own.
Financial Stability Board (consultation) — Published 10 June 2026. Among its recommendations: adapting human-resources frameworks to “treat AI agents as synthetic employees,” alongside defining clear boundaries and requiring human approval for high-risk actions. Comments close 22 July 2026; a final report to the G20 is expected October 2026.
Confirmed — regulatory consultation; analytical, not yet enforceable. The “synthetic employee” language is the FSB’s own.
Raymond James (Rai) — An internal advisor-support and operations agent, explicitly not client-facing, described by the firm as operating with full human-in-the-loop oversight. Launched January 2026; captured in the run for the first time on the Week of 9 June.
Confirmed — firm description. The mechanism of the stated human oversight is not specified.
Assembled from a structured weekly monitoring run, read this week from the client’s side of the table; items at the payments and settlement layer were held for a later run. Provenance notes indicate the strength of sourcing, not an endorsement of the claims. Interpretation is held back from this page.
